Currently, I'm working on You Know Your Brother for my MFA thesis. I'm tightening my plot outline and solidifying my introductive chapter/inciting incident. As I head into Speculative Fiction 2, it's looking like we will be learning more about dialogue, scene development, and ensuring our plots are set as we continue writing our pieces.

I'm also taking an editing and coaching class that has been nothing but enlightening.

After this term, I will have six mroe classes to complete to graduate!

One thing I enjoy about the program are the connections I'm forming with my peers. It's been awesome to hear there feedback during the writing process. Writing is a very personal passon. It can be hard to allow ourself to be vulnerable with complete strangers and hand over our unpolished pieces. The feedback groups have been nothing but respectful and constructive.
